Howe Builders has installed the first and only SunPower AC panel system in Southern California in April 2012. A limited 5 systems have been installed in California. SunPower's AC panels will be available beginning June 2012. 

Howe Builders has installed the first SunPower AC panel system in Los Angeles County in the city of Rolling Hills in October 2012. The approvals and permit were the first ACPV panel system approved by the Los Angeles County Building and Safety. The 33 Sunpower 225 watt AC panels are currently on line.
